As part of the events to commemorate the 200^th anniversary of the birth of Wilkie Collins (1824-1889), the University of Buckingham is to host a two-day conference over Thursday 20^th and Friday 21^st of June 2024. The Dickens Fellowship is delighted to support the conference which promises to be both enjoyable and enlightening on the relationship between the colleagues and friends. On Wednesday 13^th December there will be the launch of a new book examining Dickens’s time and experience as a resident of Genoa in 1844. This will take place at the Salone di Rappresentanza in the city at 17.00. Congratulations to the joint authors (and Fellowship members) Marco Cazzulo and Matteo Frulio.
