Wreath lain on Dickens' grave in Westminster Abbey

Although the coronavirus pandemic prevented the annual wreath-laying in Westminster Abbey on 9th June taking its usual form, the 150th anniversary of Dickens’s death was commemorated when the Dean of Westminster laid wreaths on behalf of both the Fellowship and the Dickens family.

The Fellowship are grateful to the Dean and Chapter of Westminster Abbey for their assistance.

The anniversary was also marked by an online meeting of the Fellowship where the eulogy was delivered by the President, Ian Dickens. A recording of the event may be accessed here
