150th Anniversary, Commemorative Stamps

 

Isle of Man Post Office, working closely with the Charles Dickens Museum, London recently issued a set of six stamps marking the 150th anniversary of the death of Charles Dickens.

The stamps feature five engravings from his most famous book A Christmas Carol and a miniature portrait of the author from the same period as the book was written, The Lost Portrait.
