ALS Fair - 3 October 2026

We're delighted to be taking part in the Alliance of Literary Societies Fair on Saturday 3rd October 2026, 10am-4pm. 

The venue is The Birmingham & Midland Institute, 9 Margaret Street, Birimingham, B3 3BS

Come and meet us and representatives of literary societies from across the country, with guest speakers to include:

10:15am: Welcome speech by ALS President, James Naughtie

11am: Lindsey Davis - historical novelist

12pm: Liz Berry - poet

1pm: James Naughtie - broadcaster, journalist and author

2pm: Gyles Brandreth - author and broadcaster

3pm: Frank Cottrell-Boyce - author, screenwriter and former Children's Laureate
