The Southern California Dickens (SoCal DF) Fellowship meets every other month to discuss a selected
novel or a specific Dickensian theme. If a Guest Presentation opportunity avails, we will calendar in the
between month.

We will offer Zoom meetings in January, March, May and July 2024 . All will focus on Great Expectations.
Attempts at live meetings at our beautiful downtown library have not been well-attended, so such have
been suspended until enthusiasm arises.

Our newsletter, SoCal DF Greetings, is published prior to each meeting.

Our annual Fellowship dues are designated to support local sponsorships and charities. An affordable
$20 for a single, $30 for a duo. Memberships are rolling, so once you pay, your renewal is not due until a
year has elapsed. And of course, we do not discourage any donation that exceeds the renewal! Aside
from our annual International Fellowship dues, we donate the balance to agreed-upon charities and
sponsorships.

We have chosen the following to bestow 2024 Holiday gift donations and sponsorships.
1. Operation Safehouse (abused and battered women)
2. Riverside City Mission
3. The Dickens Project (Dickens U.)
4. Neighborhood Academic Initiative (NAI high school Lit. program at Foshay)
5. Foodbank/Hope Net
6. House of Ruth
7. Living with Dignity Association
8. The Kibbutzim Movement
9. Leket for Israel
